COMET-Planner is an easy to use modeling tool to estimate green house gases and soil carbon in farm systems. The model was developed by NRCS and evaluates NRCS conservation practices that have measurable green house gas benefits. COMET-Farm is a more complex model designed by USDA and Colorado State as a tool to gather a detailed inventory of green house gas emissions and reductions in a farm system.
