Vineyard Soil Health & Carbon Beneficial Practices Workshop in Anderson Valley

Join Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, Anderson Valley Winegrowers, Mendocino Winegrowers, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service on May 1st, from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM to learn about soil health and Carbon Beneficial Agricultural Practices. Presentations will include conversations on cover cropping and no-till in vineyard systems, rainfall simulator and infiltration demonstration, carbon farm planning, and other climate-beneficial farming practices.

The workshop will be held at Ferrington Vineyard, 13401 Hwy 128, Boonville, CA. Ferrington Vineyard is the site of an ongoing cover crop and tillage field trial and a demonstration site as part of the North Coast Soil Hub. Coffee and pastries will be served.
